I consider important to explain what a corpus linguistics is before explaining the importance it. “Corpus linguistics is the study of the language as expressed in samples (corpora) or “real world” text. They are very interesting tools because they make possible to study the real use of the language.

- Oxford English Corpus.
- TEI: Old French Corpus.
