A complex task in Information Retrieval is one that seeks, not information about a specific topic or related documents, but specific answers to questions posed in natural language. This is called search for answers and Question-Answering in English. The Question-Answering systems should locate all of the documents, an area that may be related to the claim. The goal is to find a piece of text that at least answer the question.
For the understanding of the questions some gramatical categorizations are made, semantic analyzers, lexical analyzer, binders and binders of entities of questions are used. The search for answers uses information retrieval techniques based on the coincidence of questions and answers. It uses classifiers to find the bodies of the documents where it is most likely find the answer.
