Kevin Kelly (born 1952) is the founding executive editor of Wired magazine, He has also been a writer, photographer and conservationist. Kelly is a student of cultures (Asian ones in particular) and is considered by some an expert in digital culture.
He has recently created an speech ‘The NEXT FIFTY DAYS OF THE WEB’ . and we’re going to talk about it.
PART ONE:
Kevin Kelly talks about an experimenrt that is not an experiment anymore, because he already knows the outcome.
He explains this with an example of a child that wants to learn how to play the piano, and how he goes improving during his years of leraning. At the end whn he knows how to play the piano nearly perfect he gives up because he´s not interested anymore.
Kevin kelly likes dividing people in groups. There are 1600 people he believes. He thinks that 45 of tehm are not able to live without classical music, the first group, a quite small one.
PART TWO:
There´s a bigger group (the one who doesn´t mind classical music)
The third group (the ones who have never listened to classical music) classical music doesn´t take part in their lifes. This is the largest group.
