Hello Szeged! In my last post I explained in few words some characteristics about the country where I will be spending the nex six months of my life. But concretely, the city I have been destinated to, is Szeged. Thanks to Dr. László Botka, the Mayor of Szeged, through the Tourist main web page, I have learned many things about this beautiful city. It is a small city in the south of Hungary but actually, it is one of the most important ones due to its history, its cultural richness and its wide range of leisures activities.

I have found an important article in Wikipedia that may be interesting in order to know more about this place. “Szeged is the third largest city of Hungary, the largest city and regional centre of the Southern Great Plain and the county town of Csongrád county. The University of Szeged is one of the most distinguished universities in Hungary.” Besides the cultural and historical works, we can enjoy its delicious gastronomy, which includes typical spices of the centre of Europe. In addition, it is only 165km far away from Budapest so, you can move from one city to another in an easy way. I have also been looking for more characterisits and the main page of Szeged has a lot of information that can also be indispensable if we wanna travel here. In 2006 Tourinform Szeged Minden jog fenntartva eddited the web page, introducing its history, its main festivals and more.
