WordReference is a free on line dictionary that provides translations for English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, German, Japanese and Russian among other languages. It translates words from the following languages pairs: English-French, English-Italian, English-Spanish, French-Spanish, Spanish-Portuguese and English-Portuguese. Recently, as of June 2009, more language pairs have been added: English-German, English-Russian, English-Polish, English-Romanian, English-Czech, English-Greek, English-Turkish, English-Chinese, English-Japanese, English-Korean, English-Arabic. Presently the newer additions are still work-in-progress.
Apart from the on line dictionary itself, WordReference has also Language forums where you can look for answers to your language doubts or ask questions about language usage. In these forums you are helped by other users of WordReference that native speakers of the language you have doubts about.
