Rss is a family of web sources codifies in XML. It i used to suministrate updated information to subscribers frequently. The format allows to share the content without the necessity of a navigator, using a software which has been designed to read those contents in RSS. Even if it works that way, it is possible to use the same navigator to see the RSS contents. The latest versions of the RSS navigators allow us read the RSS wihtout needing any additional software. RSS is part of the XML formats family, developed especifically for every kind of sites which uare updated frequently and which’s information can be shared and used in other sites and programmes. This is known as a web redifussion.

The main way of web redifussion in via sourse webs, being RSS the most common format.

The web redifussion is not just a  phenomenon linked to the weblogs, even if they have helped a lot in its popularisation. The have always been redifussed contents, and everything has been shared in an XML format, thatnks to this we can offer proper contents to be shown in other web pages, which improves the value of the page which shows the content, and also generates more value, because normally the web redifussion always links the original contents.

But what is really important is that, from that format, many enterprises are trying to find new ways of spreading information about them.
