I was just surfing the Internet when I saw something that shocked me. I knew Hilary Duff was going to join the cast of Gossip girl for the 3rd season. It’s not my favourite television series and Hilary Duff is not my favourite actress/singer, but I just couldn’t believe what I saw.
Hilary Duff was supposed to play Olivia Burke, a very famous film star who wants to try a new experience by going to New York University, who would live with Vanessa.
But, suddenly, something was wrong. Producers thought Hilary was too fat for to take part in the series. She wouldn’t fit in the tiny dresses the other actresses use…
Wait a moment, wait a moment. Hilary Duff… fat? It’s not the first time someone calls her fat, and the last time that happened, she suddenly lost a lot of weight. Too much weight, I would say. And now that she looks fine, not too thin, not too fat, they tell her that she’s fat?
I might be wrong, but when I look at this picture I don’t see a fat girl:
“She’s too big” a source close to the show says, “it won’t look right with the other girls”. A Star source says: “Hilary is fuming. She’s feeling insecure.”
Of course she’s feeling insecure… most people would feel insecure if they were told to be too fast to play a character…
But well, I guess that’s the way the world goes.
