Question answering, or QA, it´s a way to recover information. Using a number of documents, the system should be able to recover answers to questions posed in natural language. QA is seen as a method that need a technology of the way to proceed of the natural language than other type of systems. QA is one of the most complicated systems in the habit of getting information back. We need to take in account that using questiong answering programs is easier that using any other program to find information in bigger or smaller texts.

A question answering syste tries to recognice a big field of questions, such as, facs, lists, definitions, how, when, where, why,…This searches can change from very little collections of local documents, internal organization of documents, to the whole web, or a bit of it.

When a QA system is used, we need kind of a engine to make it work and fnd the answerto the question we are making. This can have two benefits, we can take as real those answers that appear more often and that the charge of the processing systems of the natural language is minimized.
We can vary between two methods:
-In-depth methods are used to find parts of text documents using a filter for desu and find the answer you want, later, those responses are sorted according to the criteria.

but when the question is not enough, its needed to use a seanthic and a contextual analysis. QA systems usually conten a manage system of the knowledge represented by ontolodies such as WordNet or SUMO.
